Engagement Structure & Process

Every engagement starts with a conversation

Every WDC engagement is scoped individually — priced around your goals, timeline, and urgency, not a fixed menu. Below is how each lane is structured, within the Backend and Visible tracks.

Lane 1

The Backend Lane — Engagement Types

Strategy & Ops Audit Call
Single Session
The Build-Out
One-Time Project
Systems Maintenance
Quarterly · Post-Build-Out
Monthly Ops Support
Ongoing Retainer
Fractional Ops Partner
Ongoing Retainer

Supporting Note: Systems Maintenance is a post-engagement option for clients who have completed The Build-Out — a scheduled audit and adjustment to keep installed systems current. It is not a standalone entry point into the Backend Lane.

Lane 2

The Visible Lane — Engagement Types

Visibility Accelerator
Monthly Retainer
Deal Flow Partnership
Commission-Based
Pre-Event Logistics & Planning
Per Project
Event + Appearance Execution
Day Rate
Virtual Event Day Support
Remote Add-On

Supporting Note: Pre-Event Logistics and Event Day Execution are billed as separate, stackable engagements — full-service event support (prep plus day-of) draws on both, so strategy and on-site execution are each fully accounted for. Exact scope and rates are confirmed after intake.

Firm Boundaries

Clear scope creates better results

WDC is an operations and execution firm — not an administrative or PR agency. Clarity about scope is not a limitation; it is a feature. It ensures every hour invested in a WDC engagement is directed toward outcomes that produce measurable operational change.

Out of Scope

  • Full-service PR or guaranteed press placement
  • Social media management or content creation
  • Personal assistant services or personal errands
  • Legal representation or financial/tax advisory
  • 24/7 availability or unlimited urgent requests

Change Control: Now / Next / Later

To protect the quality of output, new priorities introduced during an engagement require a tradeoff. WDC utilizes a “Now/Next/Later” framework: if a new initiative is added to “Now,” an existing task must move to “Next” or “Later.”

This ensures capacity is never breached and the operating rhythm remains intact. Scope creep is not just a billing issue — it is an execution risk. Our change control process is how we protect your results.

WDC’s boundaries are a direct reflection of our commitment to excellence. We specialize deeply so that within our lane, the standard of delivery is unmatched.
